Introducing a Lead

When you identify a potential opportunity, register it by email. That email is your proof of introduction and the basis for any future commission claim.

Send lead registrations to: fd@e8e.dev

What to include

  • Prospect name
  • Company name
  • Website URL
  • Email address and/or phone number
  • LinkedIn or company profile link
  • Country or location
  • Why you think they are a good fit

Include as much as you have. A partial submission is better than no submission.

Context helps

Beyond contact details, explain briefly how you found them and what level of interest exists — did they express a problem, ask for more information, or is this still a cold identification? That context helps us prepare for the first conversation.

A warm introduction is better than a cold referral

If you can introduce the prospect directly — by email, LinkedIn, or a mutual contact — do that. It converts better. If not, a registered lead still qualifies as long as the Agreement criteria are met.

Register early

If two contractors identify the same prospect, ownership goes to whoever registered first. Do not wait until the prospect is fully engaged before registering. Register as soon as you have enough information to identify the company.

What happens after you register

We review the lead, check whether it is already known to us, and determine whether to pursue it. Not every lead will convert. That is normal.

Depending on the situation, you may stay involved in the relationship or we may take it from there directly. We will let you know.

One rule

Register the lead. Ask questions later. An unregistered lead does not qualify for commission regardless of how the conversation develops.
